Don Bosco’s Classrooms
This year my school, the Don Bosco College in Borgomanero, has modernized itself… In fact, we don’t have single classrooms anymore, but different classrooms for each subject.
Moving from one classroom to another lets us stretch our legs and take a break, to restart after with new lessons.
All classrooms have interactive whiteboards, and are arranged in different areas. Desks are placed all together to form various single big desks in the shape of a fishbone or a horseshoe.
Each classroom has its own name:
the Social Studies classroom (Italian, History, Geography) is called “IGS”,
the Maths classroom is “The numbers room”,
the Science classroom is “Science and Nature”,
the English classroom is “Foreign Language”,
the Spanish and English Conversation classroom is “Lengua Extranjera – Foreign Language 1”,
and, finally, we have Art, Music, and Religion classrooms.
The gym is called “Paladonbosco”.
